I'm honored to be included in the exhibition Touch: Between Image and Surface. The show is curated by University of Akron Professor of Painting Matthew Kolodjiez.
February 29 - March 18, 2016
Myers School of Art Gallery
University of Akron
Works by Eric Neff, Dragana Crnjak, Tom Berdin, Martin Ball, Andrea Joki, Laura Lisbon, Dustin London, Jered Sprecher and Amy Yoes
Kolodjiez writes, "The work in this exhibition explores both the visual and haptic senses. Painting today is in a dialogue with a digital future and an analog history. A sense of touch is central to the practice of these artists. Movement, color, texture, and absence are all ways that painting visually and tactilely engages the processing of information in time, material, and space. The sense of touch is integral to orienting oneself and directing action.">> Previous Next <<
